I downloaded it and couldn’t get the software to install. I tried to contact support and could never get any response.

My daughter has played many games on the PC and this one rates the lowest. It has little to no constructive value and too much gee-wiz.

This game may be as good as everyone says, but my daughter wouldn’t know since she can’t use it until we receive an activation file by email. If the installation machine isn’t connected to the Internet (which my daughter’s computer isn’t), you have to email the company for an activation file. Since it’s Saturday afternoon, we’re stuck waiting until Monday (at the earliest) to get it. It’s a disappointment to order the CD and then not be able to use the game. As a software engineer, I am personally amazed at the amateurish nature of this system. They should allow 1-2 days of program use without the activation file for just this situation.

ItzaBitza (and its “partner” ItzaZoo) are incredible pieces of software! I know the main purpose of the software is to teach and reinforce reading skills, but the magic of its artwork is incredible! We at COMPUTER EXPLORERS have over 500 pieces of software in our educational curricuum for preschoolers, and the Itza products are at the top of our recommended list for best education AND best use of creative technology.

This company provides amazing customer service! We recently got a Mac and gave our old PC to our kindergartner. We took it off of the internet for security and safety reasons, but this game requires some form of internet access for activation. This game does not work with Mac, so we needed a work around. Late on a Saturday night I called customer service and left a message. I got a call the next day, SUNDAY, from the CEO!!! She was on vacation as well! She helped me solve my problem using a technique already on the company’s website.
Once installed, my daughter and I both had a great time drawing and creating. The game helps my kid read the instructions and guides her through the tasks in the game. The best part is that the game increases in difficulty as her skills and confidence increases. She has gotten bored after a few minutes with all of the other games we have tried.
